Marissa Pierce is a ceramic artist based in Brooklyn, New York.

Pierce graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design (b.f.a., 2012), studying advertising and film. Previously working as a creative director, her perspective on the commodity and media greatly impact her work. She intends to interpret the generational influence of the spectacle, using the natural clay body, exploring the juxtaposition of the subject and material through playful realism.
